Project Name: GrannetDotNet

Project Abstract:

GrannetDotNet is my personal website that I launched in September of 2002. At the time I had been working for Apollo as a web developer for about two years, and I was looking to do something for myself. GrannetDotNet serves as my personal web log and a place for me to post random things such as pictures of friends or events.

The site was built using Visual Studio 2005, PhotoShop, and Visual C# .NET. The most recent build of the site is a single VS2005 project. The site is built to use ASP.NET 2.0 Themes and has a Blue and Orange theme and the theme changes whenever I feel like seeing something different. The site is themed using ASP.NET Skin files for common controls and a collection of CSS files for each. The site also uses cache profiling to create different cache profiles for specific pages.
